Easter, Divine Love

We’ll share a conversation together this week about Divine love.

As we consider the contrast between romantic love, and divine love, we can see the love of Jesus as a perfect example of heroic, selfless love. Have you recognized in your own experience the self-serving and often fleeting nature of romantic love? By contrast, when have you experienced grace through loving acceptance despite your flaws, noble sacrifice for you despite your imperfection, or other hallmarks of mature Divine love? How have you been changed by either giving or receiving from another Divine love? How do we remain conscious of God’s ever present Divine love for us, indwelling our hearts?  How can we be conveyors of Divine love, changing our families, our communities, our world? How do you come to a point where you can divinely love yourself, and how does this change you?

What role can community play in this?  What can quiet space, or meditation do to help?

Let’s share a spiritual conversation on this subject, and hear your stories of your walk with God this week.  What is stirring in your heart?
